Recently, on February 20, 2023, a Jegun student named Jingxtra who is currently a fourth-year student at Hogwarts University announced his invention of translation gum after nearly 2 years of testing. As it is said, the origin of this invention was because he was too bored to fail the English exam hundreds of times.

This gummy candy is shaped like a bear. It has many flavors such as grape, mango, and strawberry. Therefore, anyone can eat it as long as the user's age is over 5. The usage is very simple in that the user only needs to eat one candy to be able to understand all languages.
It is a small, chewy candy that promises language translation without the need for translation devices such as Google Translate or human interpreters. While some people praise this invention as a great breakthrough that will revolutionize the way we communicate, others consider it to be a "language bomb", a destructive thing that can bring negative consequences for human beings in the near future if it is overused.
This gummy seems like a game-changer. Its portability makes it perfect for travelers, businesspeople, or anyone who needs to communicate with people from different countries or even students who need to pass the language exam. It contains a chemical compound called CHARM62 combined with other additives in this candy. And then ingested in the human body, these substances affect the Wernicke area located in the temporal lobe of the brain which is also known as the language comprehension center or knowledge comprehension center.

“Translation gummy will break down language barriers, promote understanding between cultures, and make the world a smaller, more connected place. On the other hand, there are those who consider translation gummy as an atomic bomb of language. Linh Kitty - a language expert coming from Phunike country said: "This is a dangerous invention that could have far-reaching consequences for society. I believe that language is not just about words; it is also about culture, context, and nuance". Some other opponents of this invention also believe that the translation gummy will remove essential elements of communication and make language into a series of mechanical translations. This could lead to misunderstandings in communication and even conflicts between people who think they are communicating effectively but are actually missing the subtleties of language.

Moreover, critics of translation gummy fear that it could lead to a world where people no longer bother to learn other languages. They worry that if translation gummy becomes the norm, people will no longer see the value in learning a new language and that this could lead to a loss of cultural diversity and richness.
